Dr. Pablo Uceda has practiced vascular surgery since 1994 and obtained his Board Certification from the American Board of Surgery in 1995. He has provided care for patients with vascular conditions from the Dallas area since 1994.

 

Dr. Uceda’ specializes in the care of the dialysis patient. He uses comprehensive vascular lab evaluation for new dialysis access placement, including percutaneous endovascular fistulas and for patients with severe dialysis access complications. His special area of interest is the treatment of patients with thoracic venous obstruction with endovascular and vascular surgical techniques to maintain dialysis access function. He has presented his experience at several vascular surgery meetings. He continues to follow up his dialysis patients and is available to do necessary interventions at our office angiosuite or at the hospital to assure adequate dialysis access performance.

 

Dr. Uceda also evaluates patients with lower extremity arterial disease for revascularization with outpatient procedures. He also evaluates patients with carotid artery disease and venous disease.

 

Dr. Uceda has led medical missions to underserved areas of Peru every year since 2007 treating near three thousand patients and performing approximately five hundred surgical procedures. During that time, his group also has supported orphanages and donated near 400 bicycles to school children of impoverished regions in Peru.
